iPhone 7 Plus has a bigger display

This has to be the most obvious difference between both handset as iPhone 7 Plus is the bigger of two handsets. The Apple iPhone 7 comes with a standard 4.7-inch display on the front whereas, iPhone 7 Plus boasts of a much bigger 5.5 inch display. Therefore, it goes without saying that gaming and multimedia is much more pleasant on the latter. The difference is further apparent from the fact that iPhone 7 Plus has full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels as compared to 1334 x 750 pixels on iPhone 7. The increase in pixel density in iPhone 7 Plus further ensures a much cleaner and sharp pictures.

iPhone 7 Plus comes with dual camera setup

Last year, there was only one difference in the cameras of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, which was the presence of OIS in the latter. However, this year, Apple has completely overhauled the camera on the iPhone 7 Plus. There is nothing similar between the camera module on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The standard iPhone 7 comes with a 12 Megapixels camera module on the rear panel with features like OIS, Quad-LED True Tone flash, wide colour capture, body and face detection and 4K video. The iPhone 7 Plus on the other hand has the best camera so far on an iPhone with dual 12 Megapixels camera setup. Rest features of the camera are the same but the additional camera module on the rear brings additional depth and details in the resultant images.

iPhone 7 Plus flaunts a bigger RAM and Battery

This time around iPhones have been launched with the latest A10 processor, which is a lot faster then the last year’s launch. However, Apple retained the 2 GB RAM from last year in the iPhone 7, which is more than enough for a buttery smooth performance. However, since iPhone 7 Plus is loaded with additional camera features, 2 GB RAM just would not cut it and that is why the bigger iPhone 7 Plus comes with 3 GB of RAM to enhance the overall performance. Coming to the battery of these handsets, iPhone 7 has a 1960 mAh battery as compared to the 2900 mAh unit under the rear panel of iPhone 7 Plus. It goes without saying that the iPhone 7 Plus lasts a lot longer than any other iPhone launched in the past.
