The top laptop maker companies are trying to create the perfect tablet that does a little more than the usual. The most famous tech company lenovo has a fresh take on the formula. In an event at CES 2016, Lenovo has introduced the ThinkPad X1 Tablet for its customers. ( Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite Selfies Smartphone With Front Flash ) The ThinkPad contains amazing feature to transform itself into many shapes. It can work like a projector, a 3D camera and also a Laptop.
As we all know, Lenovo is known for its unique take on the laptop with its twisting and flipping Yoga series. Lenovo is trying to modularize the tablet. The tablet has 12-inch display, powered by Intels’ latest Core M7 Skylake processor. The ThinkPad X1 tablet has a 2160 X 1440 pixels display. The device has USB Type-C support, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage and optional 4G LTE-Advanced. The main portion of the ThinkPad X1 just looks like other Windows tablet. It supports optional keyboard dock and a digital pen. The ThinkPad dock offers a Trackpoint system. ThinkPad is 2.4 pounds in weight after adding the keyboard.
Now the main thing is, you can attach three modules to the bottom to transform it into a laptop, 3D camera and projector. The modules look like battery packs. Lenovo’s PRESENTER module includes a Pico Projector to project a 60-inch display out of the bottom of the ThinkPad X1. The other module combines Intel’s Real Sense camera to capture and edit objects for 3D printing. The third PRODUCTIVITY extends battery life by an additional five hours alongside USB and HDMI ports.
One more thing, you can’t use the camera as a webcam in this device, because the 3D camera is situated at the bottom. So you can capture objects only like a real camera. The Lenovo’s modules are incredibly tricky and awkward to attach.
