Xiaomi has taken the wraps off its latest offering, the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro at an event in Beijing, two huge flagship challengers to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 6 Plus. Xiaomi has boosted the mobile market up by launching the mobile devices with amazing features one by one. The company has captured the entire user’s attraction to its products.

Talking about Mi Note, the Mi Note features a 5.7-inch screen size, which is slightly larger than the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. The device contains full HD display with a pixel density of 386ppi. The display features a Nela LCD technology, which Xiaomi claims offers higher dynamic pixel and contrast adjustment for better readability outdoors. It improves contrast of darker areas in photos. The display is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which is the toughest one.
Coming to the camera quality, the Mi Note has a 4 MP of front camera with large 2 micron pixels, 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, which uses Sony’s CMOS sensor. It is nice to use the camera in low light photos. For more natural looking photos, the company added a dual-tone flash developed by Phillips.
The front panel of Mi Note features a 2.5D curved glass and a 3D curved glass in the rear panel. It is SIMilar to the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus. The company claims that it is thinner than the iPhone 6 Plus. There’s a metallic rim around the back camera and sides. You can use Mi Note in one-handed mode that minimizes the size of app windows for easier one-handed use.
The Mi Note is powered by a 3,000mAh battery, which comes with dual 4G SIM slots. It runs on Snapdragon 801 processor backed by 3GB RAM. The device will be available in 16GB and 64GB storage options. But there’s no card slot for increasing the storage capacity in the device. In the two SIM slots, one supports a micro SIM and the other supports nano SIM. The Mi Note is packed with a hi-fi audio system with ESS ES9018K2M audio decoder.
Mi Note’s official price is 2299RMB or about Rs 22,900 and the 64 GB model set to launch for RMB 2,799 (Rs 27,900) later this year.
Coming on Mi Note Pro version of the smartphone, this device runs on Snapdragon 810 with 4GB RAM. The Mi Note Pro is a single SIM device. It supports 64GB of built-in storage. It features higher resolution display (2K) 2560x 1440 pixels. The Pro version is priced at 3299 RMB. It is around Rs 32,900.
Xiaomi’s Mi Note Pro keeps the same screen size. It is also the only phone after ASUS ZenFone2, which comes with 4GB and 64GB of storage. The phone supports LTE-CAT 9, it can give up to 450Mbps download speed.
In other specifications of the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, it is identical to the Mi Notes camera quality including a 13-megapixel rear camera with a six-element lens and a Sony CMOS sensor. It has also two-tone flash from Philips and a 4-megapixel front-camera with large 2-micron pixels. The battery is also same of 3000mAh capacity with Quick Charge 2.0 technology.
